Santa Palma — In an unexpected twist to the fitness scene, a new yoga studio called “Chill & Stretch” has opened in Santa Palma, offering yoga classes specifically designed for people who “hate yoga.”

The studio, founded by local entrepreneur Tanya Beasley, promises to cater to those who feel the pressure to participate in trendy wellness activities but find themselves uninspired by traditional yoga practices. “Yoga just isn’t for everyone,” Tanya explained while sipping her iced latte. “Some people don’t want to meditate, don’t want to breathe deeply, and don’t even want to touch their toes. So, we created a class for them.”

The “No-Stretch Stretch” class, which involves minimal movement and a lot of heavy breathing (from laughing), has already gained a following. “It’s so much easier than regular yoga,” said student Mark Thompson. “I just lay on a mat and occasionally stretch a finger. This is the kind of wellness I’m here for.”

While traditional yoga enthusiasts remain skeptical, Tanya’s studio has attracted a crowd of curious locals and those just looking for an excuse to take a nap in public.
